 B-K is looking for input from you regarding how the district should make up our existing as well as any future snow days. We’re also looking for your thoughts concerning when we start school this fall. Please take a few minutes and complete the three-question survey below. Once again winter is becoming a factor as we transport students to and from school. During these months, Iowa weather can be very uncooperative. More storms with snow and ice are possibly in the next few months and will raise our level of concern. There may be instances where Belmond-Klemme will need to transport students to and from school on hard surface roads only. If that occurs, announcments will be made on our website, radio stations, television stations and on Iowa School Alerts. For a list of the hard surface routes for your students click HERE!
Students at Richard O. Jacobson Elementary and the Belmond-Klemme Junior/ Senior High School will be collecting change from now until the end of February to send to agencies to help with relief efforts in Haiti. Containers are located in classrooms and in the front office of each building!
